Kenosha police report a man arrested for allegedly making threatening calls was carrying a box cutter and a knife when he was taken into custody. The man’s name hasn’t been released. Officers were responding to several 9-1-1 calls from the man where he threatened to “take another one out,” meaning he would harm an officer. They say the suspect wouldn’t drop the weapons and he reportedly moved toward officers more than once. He was finally disarmed when a patrol sergeant struck him using his squad car. Police say the man was impaired by a combination of alcohol and medication.
