The ongoing work on Interstate 43 is set to cause more closures in Sheboygan County this week.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation explains that the I-43 on and off ramps with County Road V will be closed tomorrow (June 10th) and Thursday (June 11th) as work continues.
Tomorrow, the northbound on and off ramp at County Road V will be closed from 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Then, on Thursday, the southbound on and off ramps will be closed during the same time period.
These closures will allow WisDOT crews to perform paving operations on both on and off ramps.
Additional work to be done on I-43 in the county includes right-of-way fence removal and installation, milling and paving operations, and shouldering.
Construction began on March 2nd and will span approximately 10 miles from Wilson/Lima Road to State Highway 42.
Currently, the project is expected to be completed in November of this year.
