Adela M. (Neumeyer) Reinboldt, age 100, passed away on Tuesday, June 2 at her home in St. Nazianz.
Adela was born on April 22, 1926 in St. Nazianz, daughter of the late Herbert and Lydia (Burkart) Neumeyer. On August 9, 1947 she married Francis Reinboldt at St. Gregory Church in St. Nazianz. After returning to Wisconsin she was employed at Tecumseh Products until her retirement. She then joined HCE (former Homemakers club) and learned that they were making dresses for girls in Africa. Since she loved to sew she made about 2000 of these as well as lap quilts for nursing homes, book bags, COVID masks and many other things for charity. She helped at the local food pantry and distributed meals on wheels. She and Franny loved to travel and spent many years camping.
Adela’s greatest love was having her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren around for their many family gatherings. In April, 180 family members, neighbors, and friends gathered to celebrate her 100th birthday where the Historical Society of St. Nazianz recognized her as the honorary Matriarch of St. Nazianz.
