There are a pair of meetings today (June 8th) in the City of Two Rivers.
The City Council is set to hold a special meeting at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, where they will still give the public time to voice input.
The big item on the agenda is a discussion about a resolution to apply for a $260,000 grant from the DATCP for work on the Neshotah Beach Concession Stand and Bathhouse facility.
The project is anticipated to include approximately $100,000 in City capital funding and an additional $150,000 in local grants, partnerships, and matching resources.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Plan Commission will take over the chambers, where they will review a rezoning request in the 2100 block of East River Street.
They will also discuss a possible amendment to the ordinance regarding the construction standards for accessory structures before hearing input from the public.
