Police are investigating a shooting in an Appleton park.
The Appleton Police Department was called to Arbutus Park, located at 556 West Packard Street, on a report of a shooting at 1:45 Sunday afternoon.
The victim, an unidentified teenager, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
While very few details have been released, investigators learned that this was a “targeted incident involving groups of people that were known to each other.”
No arrests have been made, and it remains an active investigation.
