A beloved event in Sheboygan County aiming to help shelter pets in need is being brought back this month.
The Humane Society of Sheboygan County will be holding Kitten Yoga on June 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. inside their Community Room.
The event will be broken into two yoga sessions with a kitten social hour in between from 11:00 a.m. to noon.
Each session will be led by professional yoga instructors and is intended for participants of all yoga levels, from first-timers to experienced yogis.
On what to expect, the Human Society explained, “Flow through gentle stretches while curious kittens roam, play, cuddle, and maybe even join you on your mat. Enjoy movement, relaxation, and the joy of connecting with our adoptable feline friends while supporting shelter pets in need.”
It will cost $25 per person to participate, and all proceeds will directly help support the county’s most vulnerable animals.
Participants are asked to bring their own yoga mats or towels, and late arrivals will not be permitted due to loose kittens roaming the room.
Space is limited in each yoga class, and both are expected to fill quickly, so those looking to participate are encouraged to register quickly by visiting the Kitten Yoga Facebook event page.
