Local law enforcement agencies recently did their part to help out the Special Olympics of Wisconsin.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, the Sheboygan Police Department, and other area law enforcement partners took part in the 2026 2026 Law Enforcement Torch Run.
This annual event aims to raise awareness and funds in support of the Wisconsin Special Olympics. Participants and athletes ran the streets of Sheboygan County with the iconic Olympic torch, joined by police cruisers and supporters.
To further the fundraising effort, Sheboygan Culver’s restaurants are also participating in a statewide campaign.
Through tomorrow (June 7th), all Culver’s locations in the city will be donating $1.00 from every Lemon Ice Chiller sold to the Special Olympics of Wisconsin.
Wisconsin’s 2026 Special Olympics Summer Games are currently underway at the UW-Whitewater campus.
