The time has come once again for Manitowoc County residents to roll up their sleeves and volunteer their time to help the community.
The 2026 United Way Day of Action is scheduled for Friday, June 26th, and the local branch is now accepting registration forms.
The annual Day of Action serves as a way for nonprofits, companies, families, and individuals throughout the county to give back and help “improve the community we all call home.”
Last year, 30 volunteers helped four local nonprofits with tasks like painting, gardening, and housekeeping projects.
This year, United Way Manitowoc County is partnering with eight local nonprofits, and together, their collective goal is to fill fifty volunteer positions.
Day of Action also includes a light kickoff breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and a free lunch following project completion.
