Another 135 Ridglan Farms dogs are a step closer to forever homes.
Big Dog Ranch Rescue says it purchased another group of dogs from the research facility, and roughly half of those animals started making the trip to its Florida campus yesterday.
The Dane County Humane Society noted it will help with the care and placement of the rest of the dogs.
DCHS’s partners will be assisting with this group, including the Wisconsin Puppy Mill Project and the Beagle Freedom Project.
This, after 1,500 of the dogs were bought and transferred in April.
