A man is in Dane County Jail, accused of killing his wife three years ago.
Madison police said yesterday that Jose Duenas-Quinonez was arrested in Mexico back in January and then brought back to the US last month.
He fled south of the American border with their young child, who was also found safe.
The 40-year-old allegedly stabbed his wife in 2023 while inside her fitness business on South Midvale Boulevard.
The victim was later found by her 24-year-old son, who then reported Duenas-Quinonez as a suspect.
