The Sheboygan Area School District is preparing to begin two major construction projects.
The district has announced that they will be holding groundbreaking ceremonies at both Farnsworth and Urban Middle Schools on Tuesday (June 8th) as work is set to officially begin.
Farnsworth’s ceremony will take place at 5:00 p.m. inside the parking lot on South 10th Street.
The ceremony at Urban Middle School will then follow at 6:00 p.m. in the courtyard located on North Avenue.
On the significance of these events, SASD Marketing and Communications Coordinator Nicole Sondalle said, “These ceremonies will provide an opportunity to thank our community for its support, recognize this exciting milestone, and look ahead to the future of education in Sheboygan.”
Both of these major renovation and construction projects were made possible thanks to the strong community support of the 2024 SASD referendum.
