Milwaukee police officers are talking to the FBI about the 2020 election.
Two officers were interviewed by the federal law enforcement agency yesterday, although WISN reports they are not the target of the probe.
It’s still unclear what the FBI is trying to get out of the investigation, but it involves the nearly 180,000 absentee ballots that were cast during the 2020 contest.
The Milwaukee Common Council also voted to hire outside counsel to help with election-related matters.
