More lane closures will be coming to the City of Sheboygan this week.
The Department of Public Works has announced that its annual Pavement Maintenance Program will affect traffic at the intersection of South Business Drive and Union Avenue tomorrow (June 2nd).
While work is being completed, South Business at Union will be reduced to a single lane in both the north and southbound lanes.
Meanwhile, Union Avenue will be closed off to traffic entirely between 17th Street and Sauk Trail Road.
Westbound traffic will be detoured on South 16th Street back to South Business Drive, and eastbound traffic will be detoured north onto Georgia Avenue to South Business Drive.
The City has noted that no parking signs in the project area will be placed on both sides of Union Avenue later today (June 1st).
These lane closures will allow city crews to seal pavement cracks in the intersection.
