
The exterior of a Manitowoc home was damaged by a fire over the weekend.
Manitowoc Fire Rescue was called to the 1600 block of South 17th Street yesterday (May 31st) just after 2:00 p.m.
Crews had the fire extinguished within 10 minutes of their arrival, while others conducted a quick search of the home’s interior to determine whether the fire had spread inside.
No injuries were reported.
Crews completed an extensive overhaul and cooled off the outside wall of the home.
They also called in aid from the City of Two Rivers and the Branch Fire Departments.
