An investigation continues after a United Airlines flight was diverted to the Dane County Regional Airport due to an unruly passenger.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office says a 75-year-old man was detained after his behavior forced a plane heading to Minneapolis from Chicago Friday night to make an emergency landing in Madison.
An initial investigation shows the passenger appeared confused and in a mental health crisis.
The FBI says no criminal charges are being pursued at this time.
