An airline at Green Bay Austin Straubel Airport is expanding services for Wisconsin sports games.
American Airlines is adding additional flights to provide nonstop access for visiting fans traveling to Green Bay for several marquee matchups.
Beginning in October, flights from Dallas/Fort Worth, Charlotte, Buffalo, and Houston will be added.
Airport Director Marty Piette says the additional flights demonstrate the “tremendous national demand for travel to Green Bay during football season and reinforce the important role GRB plays in supporting regional tourism and economic activity.”
The added service comes as Delta Air Lines added non-stop flights from LaGuardia and Regan Airports for the Wisconsin-Notre Dame showdown at Lambeau in September.
