A court date has been set for the Manitowoc man accused of multiple forcible sexual assaults.
Court records show that 41-year-old Richard Krueger has had a scheduling conference set as he faces three counts of Second-Degree Sexual Assault with the Use of Force, and one count each of Disorderly Conduct and Battery, all of which carry domestic violence modifiers.
After initially being kept in custody on a $10,000 cash bail, Krueger and his legal counsel were able to get that number cut in half, which he was able to post in March.
The 41-year-old was arrested by Manitowoc Police this January after they received a call from a woman who claimed she had been subject to numerous physical and sexual assaults at the hands of Krueger over the span of two days.
The alleged assaults were so severe that the victim told police, “If you guys let him loose, he’s going to kill me.”
After a discussion with Krueger, where he claimed he “would never harm” a woman, the 41-year-old was taken into custody.
Krueger will be back in court for his scheduling conference on June 30th at 11:15 a.m.
