The Kiel girls’ soccer team has officially been crowned the EWC regular-season champions.
The Raiders invaded Sheboygan Falls last night for a title match and knocked off the host Falcons 3-0.
Mya Langenfeld was perfect in net, securing 4 saves in the shutout victory, but Coach Mike Pritchard tells SeehaferNews.com, she got some help.
Callaway Goodman, Bella Schrage, Emma Thibeauit, and Madson Conway eliminated numerous Falcon scoring opportunities and, in turn, created offensive chances for the Raiders.
That offense was very balanced, with Taavi Saeger, Jasmine Bink, and Harper Walsdorf finding the back of the net.
While the Raiders have secured the conference title, they still have two more regular-season games before the postseason.
Both games are on the road, with the first at Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah on Thursday, and the second the following day at Cedar Grove-Belgium.
