Green Bay Packers Running Back Josh Jacobs has been arrested.
The Hobart/Lawrence Police Department reports that officers were called to a domestic violence situation just after 8:30 a.m. on May 23rd.
Jacobs was booked into the Brown County Jail today on charges of Battery, Criminal Damage to Property, and Disorderly Conduct, each with Domestic Violence enhancers, as well as Strangulation and Suffocation, and Intimidation of a Victim.
Police Chief Michael Renkas added, “This remains an active and ongoing investigation. No further information will be released at this time.”
Jacobs’ attorneys have released a statement, saying, “Josh vehemently denies the allegations, and this matter is in the early stages of investigation with important evidence that has not yet been made public. We ask for fairness and restraint while the judicial process takes its course.”
