A man who was arrested for drunk driving in Manitowoc County on Thanksgiving Day in 2024 has been sentenced.
70-year-old Bobby J. Hill was found guilty due to a no contest plea on his 5th OWI, and was ordered by Judge Anthony Lambrecht to spend three and a half years in prison followed by three and a half years on extended supervision.
Hill was arrested on Thanksgiving Day in 2024 after a State Trooper pulled him over for speeding on Silver Creek Road.
The trooper saw a bottle of vodka in the car and administered a field sobriety test, which he failed.
Hill also recently pleaded guilty to his 6th OWI in Ozaukee County, eight years after his 4th OWI arrest in Sheboygan County and eleven years after his 3rd in Brown County.
As a part of his sentencing, Hill was ordered to undergo treatment, to maintain absolute sobriety, and to have his license revoked for three years.
