A Kenosha family is suing the Brewers Community Foundation after they were 66-seconds late collecting a $13,000 50/50 raffle prize.
The family of Annette Flynn couldn’t see the scoreboard from their seats at American Family Field and missed the announcement of the winning ticket number before they checked it on their phone.
They had just six outs to claim the prize, and the foundation picked another winner 15-seconds after the sixth out was recorded.
The rules have been updated since the July 7th, 2023 game, when Flynn had the winning 50/50 number, and winners now have 30 days to claim the prize instead of just six outs.
