The FBI wants to question Milwaukee police officers about what they saw when they were at the city’s central count location and polling sites on Election Night in 2020.
The Milwaukee Police Department says they are not the target of an FBI investigation.
The federal agency has been trying to talk to current and former election officials in Milwaukee County and the city of Milwaukee over the last several weeks and have interviewed Wisconsin Elections Commission deputy administrator Robert Kehoe.
Governor Tony Evers says his administration is not aware of any widespread FBI probe into the 2020 election in the state.
