Residents in Manitowoc’s Seventh District will vote at a new place in the August 2026 partisan primary election.
The Common Council approved a resolution to move the District 7 Polling Location to the St. Francis of Assisi Parish Office on Grand Avenue.
In a memo, City Clerk Mackenzie Reed explained that she was very impressed with the abundance of space, ease of entrance, and parking.
St. Francis of Assisi Parish had also expressed a willingness to work with the city and the election schedule.
Letters will be sent out to District 7 residents, and more information will be provided on the city’s website and social media.
Open Bible Baptist Church has been the District 7 polling location since 2018.
