Lieutenant’s Jeff and Terri Olson will be ending their time with the Manitowoc County Salvation Army. Every year, the Salvation Army all over the world sees new officers come into the ministry, and current officers receive new assignments. The Manitowoc Lieutenants have both received a new assignment, but due to Jeff’s health concerns over the past year, the Olson’s will be place on medical leave. Jeff is proud of their time in Manitowoc saying, ““We have been grateful for our time in Manitowoc and for the opportunity to be used by the Lord to help change lives, create new programs and even improve some processes in our community. We will miss the friends we have made, but we are thankful for the time we have had.” The Olson’s “Farewell Sunday” will be June 24th. The new officers, Majors Tom and Julie McDowell, will arrive June 26th and their “Welcome Sunday” will be July 1st.
