Congressman Tom Tiffany is meeting with Wisconsin voters as he looks to take over the governor’s office.
The Republican lawmaker was joined by former Governor Scott Walker for a campaign stop in Green Bay yesterday.
Tiffany has already gotten an endorsement from President Trump and official backing from the state GOP, making him the likely candidate to challenge the Democrats this fall as Governor Evers’ final term winds down.
Wisconsin Democrats will hold their convention in Madison in mid-June and primary voters will choose nominees in August.
The winners of the Democratic and Republican primaries will face one another in November.
