
It will be a busy day in Manitowoc County as there are four governmental meetings scheduled for today (May 19th).
The Highway Committee will start the evening in the Highway Department Building at 4:00 p.m., where they will hear input from the public.
Then, after electing a Vice Chair and 2nd Vice Chair, the group will review a request for site evaluation on County Road X and for slow-moving vehicle signage on Highway W between Highway 10 and Goodwin Road.
Then, at 5:15 p.m., the Personnel Committee will gather in the basement of the Heritage Building, where they will also hear from the public and elect a Vice Chair and 2nd Vice Chair.
They will then discuss a proposed exception to the vacation policy.
The County Board has two meetings on the calendar. First, they will convene at 5:30 p.m. in the County Board Room for IT security training before holding their regular monthly meeting at 6:00 p.m.
After declaring June as Dairy Month in the County, the board will review several proposed zoning map amendments before reviewing a resolution to approve a premises use sublease agreement between the MPSD and UW Green Bay.
