There is only one meeting today (May 18th) in the City of Two Rivers.
The City Council will be in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m., where they will administer the oath of office for Police Officer Jessica Rogers.
Then, after hearing input from the public, the council will review the city’s application for a DNR Stewardship Recreational Boating Grant.
This money would go towards replacing the docks a Veteran’s Park, which is anticipated to cost less than $100,000.
The group will also review an ordinance to amend the section of the municipal code related to prohibiting animals during special events in Downtown Two Rivers.
At the request of the Rotary Club, the proposed resolution would prohibit animals within designated downtown special event areas during Applefest, consistent with existing restrictions for other major community events.
