It was a successful trip for a Two Rivers city representative in Madison.
Council Member Katherine Dahlke tells SeehafernNews.com that she met with two state representatives and two former assemblymen to talk about priorities and needs for the Cool City.
She met with State Senator Julian Bradley, State Representative and GOAT Committee Chair Amanda Nedweski, former Speaker Scott Jensen, and former State Representative Joe Handrick.
Dahlke also spoke with current elected officials, including State Representative Paul Tittl and Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu, about the importance of fiscal responsibility and reducing the burden on taxpayers.
The councilwoman called the day a huge success, adding she was able to “push for legislation that would help us at home and engage our local state representative and senator.”
At a later date, Dahlke will also announce a proposed listening session with state legislators.
