Wisconsin Heavy Fabrication is bringing more jobs to Manitowoc.
The company operating out of the former Broadwind Heavy Fabrications location along the Manitowoc River has announced they are expanding operations and hiring more than 100 employees.
Wisconsin Heavy Fabrication was established following an asset acquisition of the facility, formerly known as Broadwind Heavy Fabrications, Inc. by IES Infrastructure in the Fall of 2025.
IES President Mike Rice explained that they have “made a significant investment in expanding production capabilities at Wisconsin Heavy Fabrication, needed to support future growth. Now we’re focused on building a strong team of employees who want reliable work, competitive benefits, and opportunities to grow their careers right here in Manitowoc.”
To fill these positions, Wisconsin Heavy Fabrication explained they will be hosting an on-site hiring event on May 28th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., and on May 29th from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
