Sewer work in the City of Sheboygan will cause a lane closure this week.
The City’s Department of Public Works has announced that the northbound lane of North 14th Street will be closed, beginning today (May 18th), allowing city crews to make sanitary sewer repairs.
The closure on North 14th will run between St. Clair Avenue and Michigan Avenue.
At this time, the closure is expected to be in place for one week, and no detour will be posted.
During the closure on 14th Street, residents in the construction zone will still have access to their homes.
While work is expected to take one week to complete, the Sheboygan DPW reminds motorists that all work is weather-dependent and may be subject to change.
To close, the DPW said to the public, “The City of Sheboygan understands the inconvenience experienced during road construction and appreciates your patience and cooperation as we work to complete this project. Please use caution and slow down in construction zones.”
