Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport and PilotSmith are offering young aviation enthusiasts a chance to explore flight through a camp.
The aviation camp takes place July 13th through the 16th and provides attendees with immersive aviation experiences, including flight simulation, aircraft familiarization, aviation science activities, and opportunities to learn from aviation professionals.
PilotSmith President Charlie Smith explains that aviation is more accessible than ever, and they want students to “see the incredible opportunities available to them, whether they dream of becoming a pilot, technician, engineer, or working in airport operations. This camp gives young people a chance to experience aviation firsthand and begin imagining a future in the industry.”
PilotSmith, headquartered at Austin Straubel International, has become one of the fastest-growing flight training organizations in the Midwest and serves hundreds of students each year.
Registration is now open and will close on Monday, June 15th. It will cost students $200 to attend.
