The University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee is applauding a gift to benefit its School of Freshwater Sciences.
Officials announced yesterday that a philanthropist named Lynde Uihlein gave a $10 million gift to the school for expanding research and support.
Roughly $4 million of the gift was described as being flexible for lab equipment, scholarship, faculty raises, and more.
UW-M mentioned the donation matches the largest the school has ever received.
