An organization in Sheboygan County is preparing to honor local educators.
The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce has opened nominations for the 2026 Golden Apple Education Awards.
These awards will be handed out later this year at the Chamber’s annual Workforce Development Symposium on September 16th; however, nominations are due by July 3rd.
The awards to be handed out include recognizing an individual as the Workforce Development Educator of the Year and a business or organization as the Workforce Development Business Education Partner of the Year.
For those making nominations, educators are required to be employed by a school within Sheboygan County and work with K-12 students.
Businesses or organizations up for nomination are also required to be Chamber members whose actions directly benefit students in the area.
The 2026 Golden Apple Education Awards and Workforce Development Symposium will take place at Pine Hills Country Club.
