It will be a big weekend for Sheboygan’s Bookworm Gardens.
Bookworm Gardens will be hosting the Readers’ Roundup Community Day tomorrow (May 16th) from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., a day to celebrate the unveiling of the nonprofit’s newest space.
This year’s Readers’ Roundup garden is designed after the book Harvey Potter’s Balloon Farm, written by Jerdine Nolen in collaboration with Sheboygan County 4-H.
A ribbon cutting for the garden will be held at 11:15 a.m., while throughout the day, those in attendance will have the chance to hear a live reading of the book, participate in hands-on activities, and more.
Addie the Cow and the Fairest of the Fair, along with future contestants, will also be on hand.
Food will also be available for purchase thanks to Harvest Street and Peja Vu.
Bookworm Gardens invited everyone to “Come curious, come with an appetite, and come to have fun!”
