A local organization is hosting an electronics recycling event this weekend.
The Two Rivers Octagon Club will collect some recyclable items on Saturday (May 16th) from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Office on 17th Street.
Items like metal, power cords, tools, and other items can be recycled for free, but there will be a fee for monitors, TVs, refrigerators, and air conditioners.
The Octagon Club will not accept lightbulbs, alkaline batteries, trash, or liquids.
Two Rivers residents are reminded that when recycling cellphones, all information on hard drives, SIM cards, and other storage devices will be destroyed, so it’s important to have their accounts removed.
More information can be found on the Two Rivers, WI, Facebook page.
