There are a pair of Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (May 13th).
Up first is the Public Works Committee, which is slated to gather in the Public Health Building at 4:30 p.m., where the public will be given time to comment.
Then, after reviewing their spring drug collections report, the group will get the latest on several capital projects, including the courthouse windows and HVAC system replacement.
Then, at 5:00 p.m., the Public Safety Committee will meet in the Communication and Technology Building, where they will elect their First and Second Vice Chairs.
Sheriff Dan Hartwig will give a report on department operations, the body camera integration, and recruitment, after which, Emergency Management Director Rhonda Green will give an update on the usage policies for the county-wide public safety radio system and encryption authorizations.
