A Two Rivers councilwoman is going to Madison today (May 12th).
Katherine Dahlke tells Seehafernews.com that she will travel to the state Capitol to meet with legislators and fight for Two Rivers’ priorities.
She explains that she is proud of the Cool City and wants to make sure legislators don’t forget it about it, saying, “We can’t allow the legislature to lose sight of the hopes and goals of our community while they are in Madison, so I’m taking those things directly to the seat of power.”
Dahlke plans to meet with members of both the State Assembly and Senate to advocate on a number of bills that could benefit Two Rivers.
She is also announcing plans for a joint listening session with state legislators in the near future.
Dahlke will also provide more information on her Katherine Dahlke for City Council Facebook page.
