The defense has begun presenting its case in the trial of Josie Dikeman.
Dikeman is the Onalaska woman facing homicide charges in connection with the 2023 death of her boyfriend’s 6-year-old son, A.J.
Prosecutors wrapped up their case yesterday with testimony from a law enforcement officer who says that the boy’s father did not have the opportunity to kill the boy and that Dikeman had created a new social media account to try to hide messages that could have otherwise been incriminating.
The defense began its presentation by calling the father’s ex-girlfriend and one of his former co-workers to the stand.
