
Two men in Eastern Wisconsin have been arrested in a multi-jurisdictional drug and firearms case.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office reported that multiple co-defendants were identified as operating across several jurisdictions in Wisconsin, including Manitowoc and Door Counties.
Between January and April, over 700 grams of cocaine, nearly 3,000 grams of methamphetamine, eight firearms, and multiple manufactured fraudulent/illegal documents were seized throughout the state.
On April 14th, Manitowoc and Door County law enforcement teamed up to make several arrests, including Arquimides Arias-Hernandez in Two Rivers.
He, along with Santiago Trujillo-Alvarez, who was living in Sturgeon Bay, is in custody on multiple charges, and both are being held on a $500,000 cash bond.
ATF Acting Special Agent in Charge Joseph Persails praised the local law enforcement agencies, saying, “Cases like this in Manitowoc County highlight the strength of coordinated law enforcement efforts at every level. When agencies share resources, intelligence, and expertise, we are better positioned to protect our communities and hold those who endanger public safety accountable.”
Manitowoc County Sheriff Dan Hartwig and Two Rivers Police Chief Ben Meinnert also said in a joint statement, “Strong partnerships lead to safer communities, and this investigation reflects that commitment.”
