A man is in the hospital in Kenosha following an hours-long standoff.
It started Monday night when police were called to a home for a child custody issue, and found probable cause that domestic violence may be involved.
Officers later responded to the home, and at one point, said Andres Casas opened fire when they tried to take him into custody.
After nearly eight hours, Casas attempted to leave the house through a window, and a Kenosha police officer shot him.
A gun was recovered where he was shot, and he was taken to the hospital yesterday morning.
