
The longtime owner of WCUB Radio in Manitowoc has passed away.
Wisconsin Broadcasting Association Hall of Famer Lee Davis was 90 years old at the time of his passing.
Davis began his radio career in 1954 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and had several stops throughout the country before finally settling in Manitowoc in 1975.
He began work at WCUB and WLTU as the General Manager before purchasing the stations in 1988.
He hosted the Breakfast Club on 980 WCUB for over 30 years, highlighting members of the community and shining a light on the great things happening in Manitowoc.
He also worked closely with Seehafer Broadcasting founder Don Seehafer in advertising both WCUB and WOMT.
Funeral details have not yet been announced.
