It will be a busy day to start the week in the City of Two Rivers, as there are three meetings on the calendar.
Kicking off the week will be the Committee on Aging, which is slated to meet in the Senior Center Library.
They will hear input from the public before getting their usual monthly reports.
Then, at 5:00 p.m., the Public Utilities Committee will be in the Committee Room in City Hall, where they will also hear input from the public.
Then, after getting the latest on several ongoing projects and contracts, the wastewater utility will talk about sludge disposal and what caused a failure at the east primary sludge dump.
Closing out the day will be in the City Council, which is slated to gather in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
After administering the Oath of Office for Fire Captain Brandon Burke, the Council will welcome Manitowoc County Executive Tyler Martel and will issue a proclamation honoring Constance Locke for her 50 years at Connie’s Diner.
The council is also set to host a public hearing regarding the general development plan for a planned housing development at 3000 Forrest Avenue, before discussing improvements at the Neshotah Pavilion.
