The Two Rivers Optimist Club and Fox Communities Credit Union are teaming up for an electronics recycling event later this month.
Residents are invited to drop off their unwanted electronics in the parking lot of the J.E. Hamilton Community House on Saturday, May 16th, between 9:00 and noon.
Most items are accepted at no charge; however, there will be a charge for TVs, freezers, refrigerators and AC units.
Items NOT accepted include light bulbs, batteries, paints, solvents and medications.
Guests can also bring up to five brown grocery bags filled with paper for shredding.
All proceeds are used for youth and community events for the High School Octagon Club.
