Manitowoc Public Utilities will be celebrating National Drinking Water Week with a public event.
Residents are invited to visit the Water Treatment Plan on Thursday, May 7th, for tours from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.
A new tour will begin every 15 minutes with no registration required.
Guests just need to show up at 1323 South 7th Street in that time frame, and they will get to see what goes into treating water in Manitowoc.
Guests will also receive a flyer that explains the treatment process, a branded bottle of water, and/or a color-changing cup for the children.
Cookies will also be available.
