Authorities are investigating a fatal vehicle collision in Vernon County.
Reports say that 82-year-old motorist John Shimpach went left of center on Wednesday afternoon on State Highway 27 and hit another vehicle head-on.
Shimpach died at the scene.
Two people from the vehicle hit by Shimpach, part of a military convoy, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
