The man accused of leading a massive protest at Ridglan Farms in March is heading to trial.
Wayne Hsiung was in court Wednesday on charges of burglary and then posted a $20,000cash bond yesterday.
Dozens of supporters were at the hearing and the jail to cheer the 44-year-old’s release from jail.
Hsiung is accused of organizing the storming of the Blue Mounds facility in March, where hundreds of activists tried to free the Ridglan Farms beagles.
He’s also considered to be the ringleader of another attempt just a couple of weeks ago.
