GIRLS SOCCER
The Kiel Raiders, ranked third in the Green Bay Metro Max Preps Girls Soccer Poll, will look to improve to 9-0 on the season as they host Roncalli/Two Rivers.
The Raiders have plenty of lethal offensive weapons, but the key to their success has been a smothering defense that’s recorded four consecutive shutouts and six on the season.
In fact, the last time the Raiders allowed a goal was back on April 10th in a 2-1 victory at Howards Grove.
The only other goal scored against them came back on April 7th as they defeated Winnebago Lutheran Academy of Fond Du Lac 7-1. Roncalli/Two Rivers is 2 and 2 on the season, and it’s been either feast or famine for the EWC co-op.
In their two victories, they’ve outscored the opposition 10-0, and in their two losses, they’ve been outscored 13-0.
Match time is 4:30 p.m.
Elsewhere, Manitowoc Lutheran hosts Howards Grove, Sheboygan Falls visits Valders, Denmark hosts Wrightstown, and St. Mary Catholic travels to Oostburg to battle The Lady Flying Dutch.
