An Appleton man has been sentenced in multiple child sex cases in Manitowoc County.
21-year-old Joseph W. Drews was found guilty due to no contest pleas on a total of three counts of Sexual Intercourse with a Child Age 15 or Older With the Actor Under 19, and one count each of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
His sentencing was withheld on all three cases, and Drews was ordered to spend a total of seven years on probation.
He also had charges of Possession of THC, intimidating a Victim to Dissuade Reporting, and two counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping dismissed but read into the record.
Drews was arrested in Manitowoc in February of 2023 after a victim told police he had sexually assaulted her.
After he was done, Drews allegedly threatened to shoot up her house if she told anyone.
As a part of his sentencing, Drews was ordered to undergo counseling and a psychosexual evaluation, maintain absolute sobriety, and submit to random urine screens.
