A former Dane County school administrator is heading to prison.
Robert Gilkey-Meisegeier was sentenced to 18 years behind federal bars on Tuesday on a charge of producing child pornography.
Other charges were dismissed as part of a plea deal he agreed to back in January.
Gilkey-Meisegeier used to be the dean at Sun Prairie West High School, and he didn’t make a statement during sentencing.
Eighteen years was the maximum sentence he could’ve received under the plea agreement.
