An Oshkosh family is in mourning the loss of multiple pets following a fire on Wednesday evening.
The Oshkosh Fire Department was called to the 1700 block of Mt. Vernon Street just before 6:00 p.m.
There, they found a two-story home with flames visible from all four sides.
No one was home at the time, besides the multiple pets, which died in the fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, and no additional information was made available.
